Dr. Lisa M. Johnson started her career as an educator in Prince George’s County Public Schools; she was a Social Studies teacher at Surrattsville High School. After eight years in the classroom, and holding teacher leadership positions such as Teacher Coordinator and Mentor Teacher, Dr. Johnson began her tenure in school administration as an Assistant Principal at Dr. Henry A. Wise High School.
In August of 2012, Dr. Johnson joined St. Mary’s County Public Schools as an Assistant Principal at Chopticon High School. She then worked for seven years as an Assistant Principal at Great Mills High School before transitioning to the leadership position at Fairlead Academy.
Dr. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, a Master of Arts degree in Teaching and a Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership.
